As I just noted in a comment to Jim Lassiter's recent posting on his Good News/Bad News Blog,
HR 4167, the National Uniformity for Food Act passed the House of Representatives on March 8. At the last second, the legislation was amended to specifically exclude dietary supplements from its protections. The Amendemt was offered by Joe Barton (R-TX). So, dietary supplements are singled out as a catagory of food that can only be rendered safe with the enforcement of state regulations above and beyond those promulgated by the FDA. In addition, since the law would protect every other catagory of food from bounty hunter enforcement actions under Prop 65, this could signal open season on the supplement industry in California. This legislation now must be OPPOSED by the supplement industry.

I would ask my congressmen to let us eat this: www.geocities.com/prime3end. The site discusses all the telomerase inhibitors that are available in food extracts ect, with links to the cancer research that makes the claim. Regulation of these compounds is a grotesque and unthinkable intentional denial of medical care.

Telomerase is emerging as the worst enzyme if all of cancer research, being the heart of all human cancers, responsible for the immortality of cancer cells and their spread through the body. There are many extracts on the site that inhibit telomerase both directly and indirectly via other cancer cell dependencies.

To deny these things to Americans is the same as murder for money, money that would otherwise fill the pockets of pharmacia. Thanks to this site and all the others who are working to correct the diet of Americans so they have a chance to enjoy their retirement!!!
